Description

In this workshop, Sirin will cover how to identify feature stories, how to write a strong and compelling pitch,  find editors and pitch to them, track down sources and case studies — and most importantly, how to write the damn thing. Expect lots of granular detail on writing and craft, as well as the insidery tips that will best ensure your pitches get read and commissioned by editors. Feature journalism can seem like an overwhelming place to start: let Sirin break down the skills she’s honed over her career to help get the most out of your journalism.

This is an event for people who are hoping to get into feature writing or people looking to improve their feature writing skills.
