Description

Writing a book is overwhelming. Finding an agent even more so. In this workshop, literary agent Jessica Faust will give insider tips and tricks on how to successfully navigate the submission process and what to do while you’re querying.

Information you'll learn includes:

  • How to find agents to submit to
  • The limitations of agents and why some don't represent your genre
  • Creating your agent submission list
  • A discussion on how many queries to send at once
  • Whether or not you should revise your query (or is it the book)
  • Knowing when to quit
  • What to do with your time while submitting
  • How to interpret rejection letters
  • And what to expect when that offer of representation is made

In addition, the workshop will include lots of time for discussion, personal feedback, and questions. Learn not just from Jessica, but other authors as well.
