Description

If you have an art show or project coming up, this intensive communications workshop will help you create and share your message. Robin Cembalest, former editor of ARTnews and a social media expert, will share strategies for crafting talking points and for disseminating them on social media platforms.

The class offers a deep dive in promotional content from an editorial perspective. Using examples from artists, museums, and other arts professionals and nonprofits, Cembalest will show how to use language, photo editing, and design to craft content that remains true to mission and brand while building momentum and buzz. These days, every arts professional needs to be a content producer. This webinar provides tools to gain visibility and media attention in a fast-moving digital landscape. In the first half of the class, she’ll show examples of effective promotions by artists and institutions. In the second half, she’ll take questions from the participants.
