This is a four-week workshop, but we get it: that's a big commitment. Feel free to just buy a ticket to week one here. Then, if you love week one (and we're pretty sure you will!), you can sign up for weeks two through four afterward. Tickets are $25 for the first session or $100 for all four sessions, and you can share your ticket with another member of your household.
Looking for a creative outlet while stuck at home? Join us each Thursday in September to learn the fundamentals of rhythm and rhyme, with a particular focus on spoken-word poetry and rap. No prior experience needed. Perfect for ages 8 to 108!
In this intimate workshop, you’ll write and perform original poetry, with lots of laughter along the way. Our instructor, rapper Alex “Frak” Fraknoi, will help you use rhythm and rhyme to process the challenging times we’re living in. With his guidance, you’ll be amazed at the multi-syllabic rhymes you can create. Past participants have raved about Frak’s approach to teaching and can’t wait to learn more from him.
Sign up today, and get ready to release your inner poet!
