Bio

Mur Lafferty is the author of several science fiction and fantasy books, including Six Wakes, a novel nominated for the Hugo, Nebula, and Philip K Dick Awards, and the novelization of Solo: A Star Wars Story. She has chronicled her writing career in podcast form since 2005 with her long-running podcast I Should Be Writing (and its sibling show, the Hugo-Award-winning podcast Ditch Diggers). She's the co-editor of the premier science fiction podcast magazine, Escape Pod, also a multiple Hugo-nominee. 

Comfortable with writing and podcasting, in 2020 Mur tried her hand at streaming, and now does live shows four days a week on Twitch.
