We’re happy to share that Speakeasy has achieved both SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certification. These milestones reflect our ongoing commitment to keeping customer data safe and meeting the security standards that enterprise teams expect.
What this means
SOC 2 Type II is an audit standard from the AICPA that evaluates the design and operating effectiveness of security controls over time. Unlike a Type I report, which captures a snapshot, Type II verifies that controls are working consistently.
ISO 27001 is the international standard for information security management systems (ISMS). Certification demonstrates a systematic approach to managing sensitive information through documented policies, procedures, and technical controls.
Together, these certifications provide independent assurance that Speakeasy handles data with the rigor customers and their security teams require.
Audit details
Speakeasy was audited by Eden Data , an independent security firm. We use Drata as our compliance automation platform to continuously monitor controls and maintain certification.
