What is SOC 2?
System and Organization Control (SOC) 2 , developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), is a framework that evaluates how organizations secure and protect customer data. A Type I report specifically assesses the design of security controls at a specific point in time, ensuring they meet stringent trust service criteria.
