Explore ships a built-in MCP & Tools dashboard, two chart types, and agent-managed widgets

Explore gets its first Speakeasy-built dashboard, two chart types for showing what made up a total instead of just how it moved, and the ability for agents to read, build, and lay out dashboards and widgets on your behalf. Opening a risk policy's details is also noticeably faster.

Features

  • A built-in MCP & Tools dashboard — The Dashboards page now lists dashboards Speakeasy ships with the product, marked Speakeasy-built, alongside the project's own. MCP & Tools is the first: eight cards covering tool calls, failures, and the busiest servers, tools, clients, and people. It opens read-only; Duplicate copies it into an editable project dashboard with a saved widget per card. (#7260, @subomi)
  • Stacked bar and stacked area charts — Explore and widgets can now draw a breakdown as a stack, answering what made up a total rather than how each series moved. A stack needs a Group by and one measure that adds up, a count or a sum; when a breakdown has more series than fit, the smallest are folded into one Other band so the height still reads as the true total. (#7256, @subomi)
  • Agents can manage Explore widgets through Platform MCP — list_widgets, get_widget, save_widget, duplicate_widget, and delete_widget let an agent read and maintain a project's saved widgets with the same permissions as the dashboard. Every write previews first and commits only on confirmation, naming the version it read, so an edit made in the dashboard meanwhile is never overwritten. (#7419, @subomi)
  • Agents can manage dashboards through Platform MCP — list_dashboards, get_dashboard, save_dashboard, duplicate_dashboard, delete_dashboard, edit_dashboard_layout, and save_dashboard_filters give an agent the same read, layout, and filter controls as the Dashboards page. Speakeasy-built dashboards stay read-only, so an agent duplicates one to change it. (#7420, @subomi)

Bug fixes

  • Risk policy details load instantly — Every single-policy read used to count all of a project's chat messages to report stale analysis progress, which could take 25 seconds or more on busy projects. That counting, and the "View Progress" panel it powered, are gone. (#7422, @vishalg0wda)
